Property building in Hakuba Tokyu Hotel
The hotel is across the street from Rhythm Wadano, which was convenient for renting our skis and was the pick-up point for our day tour to the snow monkeys. The hotel must have been prestigious when it was built, the rooms are very clean and of a very good size with a large bathroom (with a separate room for the toilet), the lobby area is huge and there are 3 restaurants on site (one seems to have closed). The service standards reflect the prestige, too, with gentlemen supervisors making sure that each team abide by their high standards. The breakfast buffet offered a wide choice of food of good quality and preparation. The onsen was very clean and had an indoor and outdoor pool.

The property is well located, clean, equipped with a beautiful onsen, interesting restaurant with traditional Japanese style cuisine and wonderful views of the mountains. However, above all else, the Tokyo has an amazing staff. All we’re kind, welcoming and helpful. In particular, the younger gentleman working the ski rental facility was able to answer all of our questions and ensured we had what we needed for a great day on the slopes at Happo One. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Apostolos

Exceptional service and attention especially 2 young male staff who spoke good English. 1 of them who is a trainee from Korea recommended a very nice Izakaya for dinner and offered to take our family photo when we checked out. The other young man who is Japanese kindly offered to store our luggage for the day while we explored Iwatake Resort upon checking-out. Nice view from the room. 10 - 15 mins drive to cafes and restaurants at Echoland.

Dora

Decent breakfast with wide choice of Japanese and Western items. Walking distance to Happo One slopes and shuttle access to many others On-site onsen is a huge plus for relaxing after ski Exceptional service, all staff went above and beyond to make arrangements and provide tips and info Walking distance to many restaurants

Our stay was short, only one day . But walking round the hotel building was interesting because there were traces of historical events that aroused my curiosity since I was a retired history teacher. If time is available, I'd like to revisit your hotel in future🙂
